OUR STORY: A MERGER OF MASTERY & VISION

In January 2019, Abe Reuther founded Redemption Fine Remodeling after training under the renowned Princeton builder John Garretson. For three years, Abe honed his expertise in high-end remodeling and custom carpentry, quickly earning a reputation for precision, artistry, and professionalism among discerning homeowners in Central Jersey and Bucks County. His ongoing collaboration with Garretson Custom Builders allowed for continued growth and refinement of his craft.


After over three decades of shaping some of the most stunning homes in Princeton, NJ, and Manhattan, NY, John Garretson made the decision to retire in June 2022. Seizing the opportunity to continue a legacy of excellence, Abe merged Garretson Custom Builders with Redemption Fine Remodeling, forming what is now Redemption Custom Builders. This strategic evolution united time-tested expertise with a fresh vision, positioning Redemption as a premier name in luxury homebuilding and restoration.

    • Architect & Designer Collaboration – Many of our clients come with an architect or designer in place, and we seamlessly integrate into that process. If you need recommendations, we’ll connect you with top-tier professionals to craft a home that is as functional as it is beautiful.

    • Budget & Timeline Development – We work alongside you and your design team to align expectations, ensuring your vision fits within a realistic budget and timeline.

    • Ongoing Communication – Weekly or bi-weekly project meetings keep everything on track, with clear updates on budget, timeline, and design implementation. These project meetings typically include the client, project manager, architect or designer and often our founder, Abe.

    • Final Walkthrough & Quality Assurance – Before we hand over the keys, we conduct a detailed punch list review with you and the architect, making sure every detail meets our rigorous standards of quality, craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

  • Our relationship with you doesn’t end when construction does. We stand behind our work and remain a trusted partner for years to come.

    • Warranty & Quality Guarantee – We take pride in building homes that stand the test of time. Our workmanship is fully warrantied, and we hold our trade partners and suppliers to the same high standards.

    • Ongoing Support – While we do not currently offer in-house maintenance services, we work with trusted maintenance providers to ensure your home continues to shine. Stay tuned as we expand these offerings in the future.
